Proven leadership delivering results for Huntington
|
Councilman |
In these challenging economic times, we can't leave our future to chance. We need experienced leaders to protect our quality of life. Since his election in 1998, Councilman Mark Cuthbertson has been serving residents of the Town of Huntington by spearheading efforts that maintain our quality of life, protect our fragile waterways and environment, promote smart growth principles and attract competitive businesses to our Route 110 Corridor. A councilman since 1998, Mark Cuthbertson continues to work to create jobs and strengthen our local tax base through major development projects in the Route 110 area. He was instrumental in Canon USA's relocation to Huntington; recognized by the Long Island Business News as the Best Public Private Partnership for 2008. As a strong environmental advocate, Councilman Cuthbertson sponsored sweeping environmental legislation preserving hillside areas and open spaces throughout the town. He has also worked to stabilize property taxes, strengthen the Town of Huntington's fiscal health and maintain a "rainy day" fund that protects against increases. Please help Mark Cuthbertson by participating in his Friend-to-Friend campaign. |
